Exciting opportunity for an experienced project engineer to join a leading pharmaceutical company

Located in Suffolk our client is a leading pharmaceutical company. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced project engineer

Reporting to the Head of Capital projects the successful candidate will be responsible for managing Capital projects which could include major projects with multi disciplinary project teams, by developing the design, cost estimates and schedules for individual Capital projects assigned. You'll also carry out the detailed design, procurement and installation works, finally to participate in commissioning and validation of the new facility.

Skills and Experience Required Must have:
A degree or professional qualification in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; preferably Chartered Engineer, be a member of an Engineering Institution. Experience in pharmaceutical or similar heavily regulated industry.

Solid process/project engineering experience with specific experience within Fine Chemical/Pharmaceutical or related industries.

The jobholder must be experienced in planning, designing and programming projects and preparing estimates using up-to-date IT tools. He/she must be capable of controlling the finance allocated to the project using computerised cost control systems. An appreciation of civil, electrical and environmental engineering and the ramification of high quality finishing to FDA and MCA approval is necessary. They must be able to effectively co-ordinate a multidisciplinary project team and be able to communicate and work with people at senior and junior levels both within and external to the company
