Position Description:
The Test Engineer role will require the person to be well acquainted with RES Test procedures. In order to complete the tests it will require a level of ability to set up the tests in line with measurement points developed from CAE models. The engineer will run the tests and compare the results with CAE predictions for the relevant test.

The Test Engineer role will require the person to be well acquainted with RES Test procedures. In order to complete the tests it will require a level of ability to set up the tests in line with measurement points developed from CAE models. The engineer will run the tests and compare the results with CAE predictions for the relevant test. The Engineer will need to record results and write the sign off reports.
Skills Required:
To be a team player co coordinating tests requirements into physical test set ups. The person must have an interest in testing components to establish if they meet the engineering standard developed for the component.
Experience Required:
It would be an advantage to have worked in a test environment and be familiar with test procedures used in the automotive industry by Ford, Jaguar and Landover.
Experience Preferred:
Engineering Design experience would be an advantage.
Education Required:
Engineering Degree, HND / HNC or relevant test experience
