Our Client is a leading company in the flavours and fragrance industry. Through unique sensory expertise and consumer insight, the Company provides customers with the taste and smell profiles that are key to their products' success. The Company serves global, regional and local customers around the world. They have the immediate requirement for a Project Engineer, to work on a 6 month contract basis, taking a lead role for the successful implementation of projects on site.

Projects will be of a capital or engineering investment nature and will vary in size and complexity.
Overall objective:
To work as a member of the site engineering group, working closely with other groups on site, taking a lead role for the successful implementation of projects on site. Projects will be of a capital or engineering investment nature and will vary in size and complexity. The individual will also be actively encouraged to help develop standards and best practices for the engineering group and the wider site environment.
Main Responsibilities:
•Support in preparation of capital proposals cost estimates, specifications, etc.
•Management of capital investments and revenue projects.
•Budgetary control for approved projects capital and revenue.
•Control of Contractors on site including Permit to Work procedures.
•Adherence to site standards record keeping e.g. drawings, manuals.
•Maintenance of site engineering procedures.
•Work within current legislation DSEAR, PUWER, CDM etc.
•Apply industry standards and best practices.
•Maintain site safety standards.
•Supervision of draughting resource on site.
Required competencies:
•Qualified to degree level or equivalent in engineering discipline.
•Team player who is target driven.
•Good communication skills verbal and written.
•Good planning / organisational skills.
•Autocad optional
•MS Project - optional
