SRMA129 Electrical Project Delivery Engineer
The role is to provide discipline support for Electrical projects for this major name service company in the Aberdeen area.
The role will include the following:
•The overall management of the candidate's assigned projects/contracts including construction, maintenance and campaign activities in the UK, offshore and overseas.
•Ensuring all work carried out within the contracts is in accordance with company H.S.E. procedures
•Development of project deliverables including man hour and material estimates, work packs, risk assessments and job cards.
•Promoting of group services, particularly specialist services and innovations
•The control of budgets and project expenditure within the business units
•Liaising with client representatives
•Supporting the supervision of site/project personnel and ensuring best utilisation of resources
•Providing technical expertise and advice in relation to discipline input to projects/contracts
The suitable candidate will have:
Experience in a similar electrical role within:
•Oil and gas offshore/onshore sector or
•Petrochemical industry
•Navy/RAF
•Defence Industry
•Dockyard
•Heavy Industry
Knowledge of:
•Computer literate
•Commercially aware
•Capable of handling budgets
•Comfortable putting together quotes for clients
•Aware of electrical regulations
•Knowledge of electrical installation work
The most desirable candidate will have / or be studying for:
•Degree Qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical or similar discipline
•CEng/Inc Eng (or working towards it)
