An automotive OEM requires a Project Engineer
Position Description:
"Resolution of prioritised customer concerns. The applicant will be responsible for identifying and implementing containment, root cause and permanent corrective action as well as ensuring that robust verification and design validation/signoff has been achieved. The engineer will be expected to make use of BSAQ, Warranty data, GQRS, JD Powers, Service and in-plant data to assist in this process. -Support the production team with the timely resolution of build issues, from root cause analysis to implementation of the engineering change (WERS releasing process.) "
Skills Required:

Skills Preferred:
Excellent communication and presentation skills, as the role requires reporting out to management at Level 3 and as required Level 2 Quality Forums, Plant Quality Reviews & Vehicle Quality Reviews, FCPA, on the resolution of engineering issues.
Experience Required:
"Familiarity with vehicle infotainment systems is required. Experience in working with AM/FM/DAB or satellite radio reception, audio and video systems, navigation systems, telephone systems and telematics is desirable. The technologies employed in delivering Infotainment features and the testing of functionality at the levels of HMI operation, feature performance (eg radio reception, audio quality, etc) and systems integration (through CAN or MOST networking) would also be useful experience. Previous experience of Vehicle launch or PVT - desirable"
Experience Preferred:
knowledge of client plant processes - desirable
Education Required:
"Qualified to degree level or equivalent - Qualified 6 Sigma Black Belt"
