Great opportunity for an experienced Power Generation Project Engineer to take control of the management of all future projects from cradle to grave. This is a vital role that will give great exposure within the Company and therefore gives excellent career prospects, as well as a salary of up to £50k to start.
The Company is a player in Energy Generation in the UK and overseas and they have an enviable portfolio of Power Stations, CHP plants, Biomass plants and Windfarms.
This position is to take the lead for Projects at a 400MW CCGT Power Station in the London area in the South East. This is a senior project engineering role and as such will require a very experienced individual. However the remuneration package for this role reflects that and is very attractive.
As a Project Engineer you will be tasked to manage projects such as increasing turbine efficiency, implementing a new control system, upgrading the condenser system, etc. Keeping up to date with all legislative matters that affect the operation of the plant and assisting with Outage planning.
To be considered you will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline mechanical, electrical or control & instrumentation and possess experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager in a process engineering industry such as Power Station, CHP, CCGT, Oil and Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Marine, etc.
The package on offer to the successful applicant is worth a salary of up to £50k plus a very good benefits package. The full package is very generous, as you would expect from a major employer.
