My client provides a complete range of products and services to a wide sector of the food processing industry, both in the UK, Republic of Ireland, and in other parts of the world.
Due to continued success and growth they are looking for an experienced engineer, preferably from the food sector, to join their successful operation to contribute to the quality of their service.
The role would involve working with an established team of 6 other dynamic Project Engineers, dealing with "whole life cycle" project management & engineering within the food processing industry. Site supervision of all elements of installation works, working closely with key contractors for both mechanical and electrical build. Hands-on approach to commissioning, engineer/operator training and managing closure of snagging lists.
On larger projects you may be nominated "project leader" whereby you would be leading a small team of engineers plus health and safety manager on site working under CDM regulations.
Applicants must have HNC/HND qualification in engineering. Minimum 3 years industry experience (mechanical/process bias). Previous experience in equipment design, fabrication and installation, project engineering, preferably from the food, pharmaceutical or other related process industry. Must possess good understanding of machinery process and design, have a strong "hands-on" engineering background.
Car provided. Overtime in the week at x1, at the weekend x1.5, bank holidays x2
