Project Engineer
£28,000-£32,000 + Overtime (Weekday and Weekend) + Company Car + 20 days holiday (rising to 26) + Travel expenses + BUPA + Company Contribution Pension Scheme + Laptop + Mobile
The Company
Providing bespoke turnkey solutions to snack food companies, this Midlands-based consultancy has attained a worldwide reputation for its innovative and high-quality services. Working for companies across the world, this company regularly handles £12 million projects, producing a turnover of £30 million. All of its 30 employees have contributed to the sheer number of orders that have resulted in covering all of the overheads, producing profit until October.
Succession planning is key to the business and the Managing Director has big plans. With the target of £45 million in 5 years, the business plans to expand into the rest of the food industry.
The Role
Working with 6 other engineers, the Project Engineer will take on the client specification, source machinery and parts, liaise with the design team, undertake budget control, liaise with clients and oversee the installation. 60% of the work will be in the office, with 40% out on site.
The Candidate
Successful candidates will possess a mechanical background with an understanding of CAD, commercial acumen, relationship building skills and experience of project management.
Candidates must be flexible as they could be away for up to 7 weeks at a time.
