This leading engineering Test House which is part of a leading UK based engineering group that specialise in the design of test and development programmes for companies across the UK and Europe, is currently looking for a project engineer to be based at its Midlands based office near Coventry.

THE ROLE

It will be the role of the successful candidate to work closely with customers and internal engineers to ensure that project delivery is on time and to budget. You will work on all technical projects from the production of quotations through to the hosting of site visits. It will be your role to ensure that all customer objectives are managed and satisfied from a technical viewpoint as well as supporting all projects in the test department.

THE PERSON

This role will be an excellent platform for either a good test or materials engineer who is looking for a step into a more commercially focussed project position, or a mechanical engineer with a technical background who is good at dealing with projects and ensuring that all areas from the customer are satisfied. This is a technical role with a commercial slant so you need to be a bright person with a good manner. It is also important that you are technically qualified in either materials, mechanical or a science related subject. If you have any experience of environmental, climatic or component testing this would be beneficial but not essential.
