Established in 1988, our client successfully designs, manufactures, installs and commissions a range of tailor made monitoring systems.
Established in 1988, our client successfully designs, manufactures, installs and commissions a range of tailor made monitoring systems. Due to ongoing expansion they are looking to recruit a number of key engineers and technicians to join their existing team in Aberdeen.
Project Design Engineer - Activities will include, design, installation and commissioning of analogue and digital instrumentation and systems for both safe and hazardous areas using approved component building blocks; efficient use of technician, technical clerk and drafting resources to perform hardware manufacture, panel wiring, FAT etc and preparation of systems FDS, commissioning and technical manual documents, it is expected that you will be working offshore 20-25% of the year.
Successful candidates will have previous experience of working in the project design engineering field, with particular knowledge of hazardous area design considerations.
Qualified in electrical / electronic engineering
Experience of PLC (Allen Bradley) and SCADA (Intellution) systems
Previous CAD / engineering drawing experience useful
Offshore work experience and current certification.
