Description
Since 1967, our client has been engineering high-performance drives and control systems for industry, through thousands of systems in a broad array of applications, they have learned what it takes to make a system live up to its potential to maximise output and minimise downtime, to increase efficiency and productivity, and to cut operation and maintenance expenses. Due to continued success they are currently looking to recruit a Project Design Engineer.

Due to continued success they are currently looking to recruit a Project Design Engineer.
You will be responsible for designing electrical schematic diagrams/drawings in accordance with our clients standards and customer specifications to generate purchase parts lists, mechanical layouts, to facilitate the manufacture, test, installation and commissioning of specific purpose motion control systems. Duties will also include:
•Developing PLC machine control programs and interface requirements on a project-by-project basis
•Design and write graphics based HMI software using proprietary software packages such as Wonderware Intouch, Intellution, Win CC and/or Visual Basic on a project-by-project basis.
It is essential that you are of degree standard or HNC/HND with degree endorsements in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering or related disciplines, with proven experience in system design engineering that embraces both hardware and software applications within the Steel Processing, Paper, Printing, Automotive or similar industries.
