Project & Site Managers will be responsible for overall success of various retail new build & fit-out projects throughout the South West. Project Manager will be directing the project resources, developing project programmes, overseeing site management & subcontractors, ensuring that the project is completed on time, safely, within budget & with acceptable quality.
Skills & Experience
"Excellent organisation, planning & problems solving skills as well as proven communication & analytical skills.
"Strong motivator of others & comfortable operating within a matrix organisation.
"Experience of Project/Site Managing new build & refurbishment projects (NOT RESIDENTIAL).
"Proficient in using MS Word, Excel & MS Project.
"Completed training in relevant health & safety regulations/procedures (e.g CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid)
Responsibilities
"To manage and control all the relevant stages of projects including pre-contract, tendering, implementation, completion & any snagging issues.
"To develop and maintain detailed project plans and programmes.
"Provide detailed financial control and forecasting as per monthly Project Contract Review (PCR) meetings also ensuring applications and payments are carefully tracked.
"To maintain a close relationship with the client, liaising on all developments.
"Controlling all health & safety on site to the highest standard.
The Project Manager & Site Managers will report directly into their Contracts Manager and be responsible for all aspects of the projects from inception to completion.
