My client, the UK arm of an international corporation supplying systems and services to the aerospace, defence and homeland security markets, are seeking a Programme Sourcing Manager to work from their West Midlands facility.
My client, the UK arm of an international corporation supplying systems and services to the aerospace,defence and homeland security markets, are seeking a Programme Sourcing Manager to work from their West Midlands facility.
The Programme Sourcing Manager will manage supplier input to programmes, ensuring that leverage is applied to achieve programme targets and maximise competitive business advantage through the life of a product. They will co-ordinate activities across sites, project teams and commodity teams ensuring that the role will provide a single point of accountability for sourcing performance in relation to programmes and will also deliver the business case targets.
Candidates should be educated to degree level or equivalent and be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the aerospace industry. Key experience will include New Product Introduction and either Programmes and/or Operations experience. They should naturally demonstrate good interpersonal skills and be able to apply these within an engineering design and manufacturing environment.
