Production Planner required to start immediately for a large engineering organisation. The position is based in Crawley and is for an initial 3 month contract with the possibility of going Temp to Perm.
Key Tasks:
•Primary point of contact for all matters relating to delivery of assigned programmes.
•Detailed planning, implementation, monitoring, control and management reporting for assigned projects and programmes within the Product Delivery Organisation.

Key Tasks:
•Primary point of contact for all matters relating to delivery of assigned programmes.
•Detailed planning, implementation, monitoring, control and management reporting for assigned projects and programmes within the Product Delivery Organisation.
•Agree with the Programme Manager the budgets, schedule deliverables and quality aspects of the programme.
•Ensure all the requirements of the programme that need to be delivered are captured, managed and met at each phase of the programme lifecycle and in accordance with the needs of the programme master schedule.
•Working with the resource managers ensure that the resource needs of the programme are met.
Skills Required:
•Experience of production control
•Looking into budgets and schedules.
•An understanding of Engineering or Manufacturing principles and processes.
•Posses excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•Good presentation and negotiation skills
•Knowledge of MRP would be beneficial
