Programme Manager/Systems Lead
Join this leader in the Defence market to be based in the South West to work within the System Delivery Services which support iX business, in particular major projects like the Long Term Partnering Agreement (LTPA), which is delivered to the MoD customer by TECS (Test & Evaluation Capability Services) and FES (Flight Engineering Services), with CS (Capability Support) providing impartial support to customers and key decision makers.
SDS plans, designs and delivers the transformations required to enable iX Test & Evaluation (T&E) businesses to deliver current and future capability under the LTPA, this includes: Creation of an innovative vision for future T&E; Provision of a procurement and systems integration service that delivers the LTPA investment programme; Provision of IT support services.
As a team member of the Innovations Department you will conduct or assist with strategic studies to help ensure that the current LTPA T&E capabilities are developed to meet the MoD's future needs for T&E; there is potential for utilisation in wider SDS activities.
The successful applicant could have experience of Operational Analysis, Requirement Engineering, System engineering and Synthetic environments. An understanding or experience of Test and Evaluation and T&E Ranges, together with a technical knowledge of range systems would be advantageous.
Essential Competencies: You need to be proactive with good communication skills as well as being a team player; You should be enthusiastic about keeping abreast of advancements in ranges and related technology and be keen to learn; You will be involved in the decision making process and may provide through life project support as necessary.
