Programme Manager required in East Sussex (near Hastings) to work for a large UK Defence and Aerospace organisation.
Programme Manager required in East Sussex (near Hastings) to work for a large UK Defence and Aerospace organisation. The role involves managing and executing programmes from any part of the programme life cycle, the preparation, implementation and monitoring of programme work schedules, project planning and reviewing project resources, ensuring contract requirements are flowed down to the Project Team, managing Sub-Contractors, monthly financial and progress reports, management and mitigation of programme risks. You will be the primary point of contact for the customer and therefore will take responsibility for managing customer expectations. You will also be accountable for project performance, accurate forecasting of programme financial information and managing the Company Internal Research and Development programmes. To be considered for this excellent opportunity working for an established company you will need proven project/programme management experience, knowledge of business development and financial management processes and experience of managing risk. Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in the defence industry. Successful applicants will be required to obtain UK MOD security clearance prior to appointment.
