Programme Manager required in Gloucestershire (near Tewkesbury) to work for a large UK defence organisation. This position is a programme management role involving preparation and implementation of work schedules, monitoring and mitigation of risks, ensuring requirements of contract are flowed down to the programme team, reporting programme process actuals against forecast, managing sub-contractors, forecasting programme financial information and managing customer expectations in-line with company priorities and capabilities. To be considered for this excellent opportunity you should have a proven project/programme management background within either the defence of automotive industry covering, financial management, team leadership, business development, programme scheduling, risk management and budgeting/cost management. You will possess strong communications skills at all levels coupled with commercial astuteness and financial acumen. Successful applicants will be required to obtain UK MOD security clearance prior to appointment.
