An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Profit Centre Manager for a world leading engineering and environmental consultancy specialising in the water and energy sector.
The right candidate will have experience in either the water or energy sector ideally from a project management background. This is an opportunity to use financial, management, sales, and technical skills in one role. Based from their Bristol office you will be able to make a real difference in this ever growing well established business.
You will have the opportunity to follow up sales leads and deal with clients and customers within the water and energy industries. This is a role with real career progression and would suit an ambitious individual with a good technical background looking to progress their career.
Responsibilities:
-To take responsibility for the financial performance of the Profit Centre.
-Resource management including ensuring correct resources and skills are available to support the current and future project deliveries.
-To ensure excellent staff performance through coaching, mentoring, and staff development reviews.
-To be responsible for identifying staff development needs, manage and schedule the departmental training plan and arrange training for Bristol staff.
-To audit the Project Managers projects to ensure they are adhering to company procedures and standards and are fulfilling the client's requirements re cost, time, quality and benefits delivery.
-To ensure that regular Company reporting and KPI's are met.
-Hold regular team meetings to maintain good levels of communication to all staff.
-Project management and delivery.
-Business development/ sales.
Requirements:
-Will have relevant post qualification experience in either water or energy industries.
-Skilled in commercial management and show leadership and commitment to financial performance.
-Ability to mentor others.
-Extensive project management experience.
-Will hold relevant professional qualification.
Salary:- Up to 55kbasic dependant on experience.
