Production / Manufacturing Engineer - Hampshire
Process improvement projects (scrap, cycle time, cost reduction) including specification, purchasing commissioning and training of new equipment and procedures
New process development to ensure compliance with EHS legislation
Product and process evaluation, and the design of new fixtures to ensure a smooth transition from prototype to full production of new products, on time and to budget
Offer and implement solutions to everyday production issues in an 8D format, from initial containment to permanent solution
Liaising directly with customers and suppliers to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Previous Experience:
Technical experience in a small to medium volume manufacturing environment
Previous experience of direct customer contact.
Ability to deliver technical solutions within tough timescales and budgets.
Fundamental understanding of the continuous improvement process
