Description
Our client is a large well known charity, currently setting up an automated product assembly facility to produce small plastic badges, at its Headquarters in Mid Kent.
Our client is a large well known charity, currently setting up an automated product assembly facility to produce small plastic badges, at its Headquarters in Mid Kent.
We are looking for someone to run this new venture and oversee a machine room consisting of state of the art high volume assembly machines. This is a day position, but it is envisaged that the facility will eventually run on a 2 shift system (days) with shift based technicians reporting to the supervisor.
The person appointed will have a proven track record in the operation and maintenance of light automatic machinery e.g. injection moulding. You should have successfully completed an apprenticeship in Mechanical or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and/or hold an HNC or above. You may have experience in a supervisory role but this is by no means essential. Good interpersonal skills, energy, enthusiasm and the desire to embrace change are essential.
This is a great opportunity to set up an initially small operation that has the potential to grow significantly.
