A family run business, their customer base includes major blue chip manufacturers. An opportunity has now arisen for a Production Supervisor / Manufacturing Supervisor to join their team.

As one of the UKs leading processors of vegetables, our client supplies an extensive range of premium prepared vegetables, dressed salads and sandwich fillers. A family run business, their customer base includes major blue chip manufacturers. An opportunity has now arisen for a Production Supervisor / Manufacturing Supervisor to join their team.
In this position you will be responsible for leading a small team of staff in the achievement of quality and hygiene requirements as set by the business. This role will require your ability to encourage and motivate your team, to ensure they give maximum performance to the business.
As the Production Supervisor / Manufacturing Supervisor your duties will include:
- ensuring you are familiar with all relevant processing machinery
- ensuring all tasks are undertaken to complete customer orders on time, every time
- attempting to maximise production yields whilst ensuring products meet customer specifications
- identifying training requirements, both for yourself and your members of staff
To succeed in this position you must have proven production or manufacturing supervisory experience gained within a food production environment.
