My client on of the largest privately owned manufacturers of instrumentation in the UK, are looking for an effective Production Scheduler
To manage the production planning process to continually improve customer on-tine delivery performance, whilst reducing lead-times and inventory levels.

Role:
To manage the production planning process to continually improve customer on-tine delivery performance, whilst reducing lead-times and inventory levels.
This is a challenging Role involving translating Customer requirements into an achievable production schedule by actively managing materials and capacity availability.
Essential skills required:
• HND / Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
• Experience with Production Planning & Scheduling MRPII
• Experience of Kanban
• Computer literate
• Effective communicator
• Financially aware
• Team player
Knowledge or experience of the following would be desirable:
• Sage "Line 500" production planning software package
• Lean Manufacturing Tools & Techniques
• Manufacturing in a small batch, manual assembly and test environment
• Short lead-time manufacturing environment
• Instrumentation products & processes
