Working within this prestigious design, development and manufacturing organisation operating at the forefront of technology an opportunity exists for an experienced Engineer to provide solid Process Engineering support for the Manufacturing team.
The Production / Process Engineers role is an exciting position offering exposure across all areas of the business. You will not only will you be responsible for process development but also be a key driving force in ensuring the organisations integral continuous improvement initiatives are maintained and further developed. You will have real impact on business strategy at an operational level.
Key accountabilities will include
Process development to ensure that targets are met and exceeded
Ensuring continuous improvement of your process through implementation / maintenance of lean tools such as 5S, Kaisan, TPM etc
Capital expenditure justification
Using your problem solving skills to resolve production issues and much more
The ideal candidate will be HNC+ / degree qualified in an engineering discipline with the ability to demonstrate all round problem solving skills. Knowledge of Lean / 6 Sigma initiatives highly advantageous. First class communication skills are required as the successful individual will interface across the business and gain exposure to other business units and group companies. Prior experience of Mechanical or Electrical assembly and Project planning would an advantage.
