They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Production Planner to join the team in York, North Yorkshire.
They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Production Planner to join the team in York, North Yorkshire.
PURPOSE:
To process customer orders by converting them into meaningful work instructions for the Production Departments and production related activities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* To ensure customer requirements / specifications are correctly interpreted and processed with the appropriate costs allocated.
* To prepare detailed planning works, including entering order requirements into SAP and the raising of purchase requisitions for special materials / services.
* To produce working drawings and detailed time sheets and to issue sheets, cutting lists and routing cards for Production Assembly lines and Fitting-Out activities.
* To prepare designs and drawing details to facilitate the manufacture of building components and fitting-out details.
* To ensure the timely preparation of site information packages including drawings, material issue sheets and any special instructions to facilitate problem free installations.
* To liaise with other specialised disciplines within the Project Team thereby ensuring that all tasks and activities are effectively coordinated.
SKILLS:
* Capable of working under pressure and to frequent tight deadlines.
* Able to work under their own supervision and create their own timetable for the completion and delivery of their workload.
* Knowledge of production planning and building fit-out
* Ideally from a Construction / Engineering background
* Ideally served a recognised Joinery linked Apprenticeship and gained qualifications to ONC / HNC level or equivalent
* Able to produce working drawings
* Able to undertake material take offs
* Able to requisition and allocate materials
* Able to produce time sheets
