My client are looking for a production engineer to join an existing team in the Derby area. This is fantastic opportunity for someone looking to provide engineering support to manufacturing and maintenance departments.
The successful applicant will -
•Implement tooling improvements
•Review manufacturing methodology and improve manufacturing processes
•Maintain production throughput for manufactured components to assembly of the finished product
•Implement of Poke Yoke and SMEDs
•Participate with the team and Kaizen teams in cost reduction, implementation solutions and reductions
Applicants will have experience of manufacturing and assembly techniques, Pneumatics and Tooling and (Jigs & fixtures) design. You will be a good problem solver and be able to lead a team. You will have knowledge of health and safety requirements and ergonomics assessments.
