We require an experienced Production Engineer to join our busy team.
The successful candidate will have :-
A minimum of HNC in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Production engineering and a good knowledge and hands on experience of using continuous improvement tools, including 6 Sigma and Lean Manufacture, be committed to continuous improvements and have a professional approach to their work.
Duties will include :-
1. Design processes that meet customer needs and expectations.
2. Design processes that meet standard times.
3. Improve assembly methods and processes, in particular the box build process.
4. Introduce new products into production and ensure that customer specifications are met.
5. Manage the implementation of customer engineering changes.
6. Specify maintenance schedules and ensure maintenance is carried out.
7. Monitor yields and continually improve the processes.
8. Provide support to Production by designing any jigs or fixtures required to manufacture products, to a required level of output.
9. Provide and maintain any tools and machines required.
10. Help solve Production problems.
11. Support Production in more efficient working.
12. Provide documentation to Production.
