Principal Purpose of Job
Support the contracted Repair Turn Round Time requirements for Level 3 Bowman repairs and Level 4 Bowman Information Distribution System (BIDS) repairs
Gain full debug knowledge of Bowman modules
Provide technical support and advice to R&O Test Operators
Support sub-contract suppliers in low level fault diagnostics
Support PDS tasks, covering issues such as obsolescence, detailed investigations, etc.
Product Test Specialist
Principal Purpose of Job

Provide technical support and advice to R&O Test Operators

Main Responsibilites
Hastings technical product expert for Bowman equipment
Train support Bowman R&O technicians/operators to perform their job function as required
Ensure all data (i.e. FRACAS/ RELEX/ BACMS) is captured and completed in accordance with contractual requirements
Work with key suppliers in growing their product debug capability on their sites
Develop in-house technical capability on all Bowman systems
Initiate process improvements
Provide cover duties for other team members/activities
Support PDS tasks as required

Education
Equivalent of HNC or above
