Our client is a Global Telecoms Provider, that require a Product Technical Support Consultant to provide technical expertise in supporting new converg
d product development, this will include diagnosing, creating test specs, manual test scripts and troubleshooting. This position will have a high emphasis on mobile and hand held product device testing over various WiFi mediums required to deliver product demonstrations to end users and corporate customers. The successful candidate will have the following essential skills; a high exposure to GSM, hand held device testing, WiFi technologies,TCP-IP,DNS,DHCP,HTTP,Firewalls,VOIP and some WAN/LAN skills. Any candidates with a Cisco or MCSE certification would stand in a good position to fill this role. The suitable candidate will have excellent communication(verbal and written) skills. 50% of the time for this role will be based in Newcastle and at least 1 week in a different hotspot where the new product development is being implemented.
