Our Client is a leading supplier of integrated solutions for the manufacture of microelectronic devices, including silicon semiconductors, compound semiconductors and flat panel displays.
Partnering with fabs, foundries and process tool manufacturers, Our Client provides vacuum equipment and technology packages that are supported by best-in-class operations and maintenance services for its global customer base.
Our Clients exhaust gas management business is the worlds leading supplier of technology to abate toxic and global warming gases produced during the manufacture of microelectronic devices. It is located at a purpose-built manufacturing facility in Somerset just south of Bristol. The 5.4 acre facility comprises a modern factory with flexible production lines, assembly feed cells, just in time manufacturing and the largest specialist exhaust gas management research and design centre in the world.
The business is highly innovative; customer focused and is growing rapidly. It offers all the advantages of a small pioneering niche company but backed up by the security and professionalism of a global company.
Broad Activities:
Diagnose and resolve problems in customer and internal situations - escalating problems where necessary to more experienced staff, including communicating as necessary outside the team.
Provide support to customers and Customer Facing Divisions by adjusting and/or modifying existing designs.
Plan and control personal work to ensure assignments are delivered to time and budget, and support the detailed planning of activities as required.
Participate in straightforward problem specification analyses and production.
Reviews detailed acceptance test plans, etc. with customers where applicable without supervision, and participate in negotiating detailed technical changes, with guidance as appropriate.
Document all work to standards, producing documentation as required.
