Our client a global telecoms provider require a Product Specialist to provide maternity cover for an existing Product Manager. The current Product Man
ger supports both the Hosting Services product and the IPSec product, both part of the services that our client offer to the financial services industry. The hosting proposition is designed around offering low-latency solutions to financial services customers, primarily for their trading applications. The prime objectives of the Hosting Product Management role include providing the tools and support to the GFS sales channel, and secondly to formulate the requirements and manage the development and life-cycle of the GFS hosting portfolio. The IPSec capability offers encryption across the RXN network, for customers who want an extra layer of security. The successful candidates role will involve managing a programme of work to fix all the problems associated with supporting the bespoke solutions, and ensuring product is fit-for-purpose. The successful applicant will have extensive and in-depth experience of Product Management Governance, and have come from a Product/Programme Management background, preferably from within the Telecoms arena. This position is initially on a 6month contract, with the view to the contract being extended for the right applicant. Daily rate of pay is negotiable, and dependent on skills and experience.
