Product Manager - Antenna or Base Station - Oxfordshire

Able to travel internationally

The ideal candidate is expected to be either:
o An existing product manager
o A product development manager
o Or engineering head

The candidate will have extensive demonstrable knowledge of the Telecoms industry, with particular experience within a Base Station and/or Antenna Line vendor (e.g. ex-Ericsson, Nokia-Siemens, Alcatel-Lucent, Powerwave, Andrews, Kathrein, etc)
A good working knowledge of RF site design, operator base station configurations, base station products, and a degree of field based experience. Technically the candidate should have good knowledge of the base-band and processing within todays generation of GSM, WCDMA, HSPA, CDMA, EVDO and WiMax base stations.
Experience with operators is a bonus, as is experience of network design and performance tools (drive test equipment and radio network design tools).
Will have proven experience of Product Development and an appreciation for the design cycle from concept to production Has a minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience within the sector Used to working as part of a cross functional team Must be commercially aware, and quick to analyse opportunities for product fits

This role requires a person to take a proactive and leading position in presenting achievable technical solutions to a number of the worlds leading telecoms operators and OEM organisations.

Location Short term (up to 6 months) Milton Keynes Thereafter North East Oxford area
Travel - Will be expected to travel extensively to Europe and South Asia as required for sales, pre-sales, and trials activities
