Product Manager (Image Processing) required for this world leaders in the design and manufacture of rugged, real-time video tracking and image processing subsystems. The Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan for the company's range of video tracking and image processing sub-systems. Based in Berkshire, commutable from Reading, Slough, Staines, Bracknell, Farnborough, Farnham, Basingstoke, London etc
Responsibilities: Leading the product strategy and roadmap. Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements. Maintaining a clear understanding of the state of the art of the constituent technologies used in the product. Managing the whole product lifecycle from product definition through to obsolescence management. Understanding and monitoring the competitive landscape. Ensuring financial targets are met. Supporting sales and marketing activities. Deciding tactical priorities in consultation with project managers and senior management. Working with sales and marketing to develop 'go-to-market' strategy.
You will possess a degree in a relevant engineering discipline with experience in image processing and/or electro optics systems. Experience in the defence and aerospace sector would be an advantage. Strong people management skills. Be proactive and able to work on own initiative. Be customer focused.
