As the UKs number 1 online designer radiator shop, our client has customers across the world. From its humble origins in 2003 operating in a front bedroom selling taps and showers, our client is a run away success story. Fast forward to 2008, they are now a leading company with sales of over £1 million a year. They are now looking to recruit a Product Manager to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing company, and a team who are BBC Entrepreneur award winners.
As the Product Manager you will play a key role in the companys success. In this role you will be responsible for developing, sourcing and forecasting product requirements for the company to maintain their constant competitive edge. You will also manage quality control, technical specifications and assist with developing products.
In this role your responsibilities will include:
- from concept to finished product, developing new and existing products
- identifying suitable manufacturers and distributors to supply products
- implementing efficient forecasting systems for stock quantity requirements
- managing the quality control function for products
- building and managing a cutting edge product team
You will also be required to build strong commercial relationships with suppliers, acting as an ambassador for the company to the industry. This role will involve worldwide travel and a large amount of time spent overseas.
To succeed as the Product Manager you must have excellent commercial awareness and numeracy skills, along with the ability to create and interpret financial reports. The ideal candidate will also have a degree (or equivalent) in purchasing, product design, or mechanical engineering.
In addition, you will also need very good analytical and statistical skills, a flexible and reliable approach, and the ability to work in a team.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and a realistic OTE which is based on 2 bonuses. The monthly bonus is currently £350+ and the annual, £2,250+.
