The Company: Our client is part of a multinational technical services provider across a range of industries. Financially secure and with access to a variety of market places, they are now one of the leading organisations within specialist controls and technology systems primarily for use within infrastructure and traffic industry.
The Role: The overall purpose of the product development team leader role is to manage a team of engineers through to successful development of new products and through modifications to existing products. This will include manage the day to day operations of the product development team including hardware, firmware and drawing office and other employees as assigned to your responsibility and advising project managers of issues that will affect their projects. You will also be responsible for development of prjects from development to launch.
The Person: The product development TL will have a strong background in project engineering/management within a product development environment. Ideally qualified to degree level with electrical/electronics engineering or physics with knowledge of electronic and mechanical design and such tools as CAD and PCB's and software packages. .
