Description
Responsible for ensuring the relevant quality assurance controls of products (hardware, software and services) are in accordance with the contractual requirements and those compatible with the company Quality Systems.

Skills Required for the Job
Degree or HND/HNC or specialist knowledge in relevant disciplines, with proven experience in an aerospace environment or associated technology, or other relevant experience as a PA Engineer.
Good team worker with strong interpersonal and persuasive skills.
Expert user and promoter of quality tools and methods, particularly risk management.
Experience of man management.
Main Activities
Ensure an adequate, effective and efficient implementation of PA activities is achieved through successful integration with all management and engineering activities.
Ensure a sufficient level of resources are applied to perform activities as required in the areas of:
o Quality Assurance
o Dependability
o Product Liability & Safety
o Parts, Materials & Processes
o EEE Parts
o Contamination and Cleanliness
o Software QA
Tasks include:
o Coordinating the in-house PA tasks, and project PA budget control;
o Coordinating the PA tasks with the Customer;
o Ensuring that all the contracts include PA provisions, based on the knowledge of the products and on the Customer s requirements;
o Identifying and coordinating resources and trained personnel assigned to the various PA activities;
o Participating in the overall activity planning and derive the PA planning details;
o Direct and coordinate the PA programme planning as to make it compatible with the overall project planning;
o Collecting, summarising and providing PA data in a timely fashion, as to support planned events;
o Managing and controlling PA action items;
o Participating in Non-conformance Review Boards (NRB), Configuration Control Boards (CCB), Test Reviews (TRR, TRB, DRB), as applicable;
o Coordinating and providing PA inputs for Design Reviews, as appropriate;
o Controlling the management of non-conformances;
Successful candidates will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment.
