A leading company who is recognised as a world class player in the Renewable Energy sector is currently looking for a Procurement Manager due to its strong growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a challenging career in an innovative industry.
The successful candidate will need to have a strong Electrical background and have an in-depth knowledge of switchgear and industrial electrical equipment. You should be familiar with 33kV or higher and you will have a track record in estimating in an industrial electrical contracting or technical engineering environment.
The actual role will involve leading a Procurement team providing an excellent service. With your strong Electrical background you will support the business in bidding for contracts and implementing cost effective balance of plant contracts.
Other duties will include managing the procurement of electrical equipment and general construction supplies. Issue budget and tender enquiries to contractors and suppliers. Managing the chasing and progressing of orders and contracts and provide analysis of contracts and failed tenders.
