Our client an international service company within the engineering marketplace are currently seeking a top level Procurement Manager. The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence within the procurement of industry specific sectors such as utilities, electrical or mechanical engineering.
Our client is one of the UK's largest and most significant Engineering companies.
New International contracts have given birth to new procurement opportunities at senior level. The successful applicants will manage a key portfolio across goods and services required to support the day to day operations of the business. The role of Procurement Manager is critical in managing a number of high spend, business critical categories around operational engineering expenditure - it is essential that this expenditure is managed in the most commercial and cost effective way. Identification and implement ion of cost saving strategies and the ability to inform stakeholders will ensure robust supply contracts which deliver optimum value to the business.
