Matchtech Group are recruiting for a Procurement Director on behalf of a global supplier to the aerospace, defence and automotive industries, based at their UK site in Plymouth.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement and supply chain professional to join a global organisation, expected to increase its current £100m word wide sales significantly within the next three years, due to a strong market position.

As Procurement Director, you will have overall responsibility for:
The purchasing and delivery of all goods and services with an annual spend of £20m+
Engaging with other senior leaders to develop and implement a clear strategy that effectively delivers business focused procurement.
Providing strategic direction and organisation to the purchasing and supply chain function.
Working with key stakeholders to ensure the required capability is developed and retained within the supplier base.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of strong team leadership, of building strategic supplier relationships and of delivering year on year supply chain improvements. You are degree educated and are ideally MCIPS qualified, with an ability to influence, communicate and build relationships at all levels within the organisation.
