Process / Manufacturing Engineer (5yrs Exp in high value/low volume production)
You will come from a Capital Equipment manufacturing (low volume/high value) background; such as defence, medical or industrial.
The role is mainly RF electro mechanical and utilises core technology that is very fine substrate work so die bonding or wire bonding experience would be preferable.
You will be responsible for supporting the implementation of new production processes, resolving technical issues, managing continues improvement programs and changes to processes. The role is more about documenting and controlling the process then looking at yields and identifying and implementing improvements.
You will be educated to HNC/HND level and have a proven track record in the definition and documentation of manufacturing processes, new product introduction and introduction of product improvement projects. Experience of both in-house and subcontractor assembly is desirable. You will be confident in the creation and maintenance of Access databases.
