We are currently looking for a Process Technologist with previous QA experience within the food industry.
Job Purpose:
To ensure the technical integrity of processes and where possible improve product standard & specification by optimising existing processes or helping introduce new ones.
Job Accountabilities:
To manage and maintain the HACCP process through the guidance of the QA manager.
To research and evaluate technical advances in product and processes within the manufacturing industry.
To champion optimisation of existing processes within the manufacturing industry.
To support the Operations/Technical team in helping to resolve technical issues with existing products and processes.
To carry out trials on new equipment in the necessary location in conjunction with the relevant project team.
To provide technical expertise in improving site Good Manufacturing Practice.
To investigate and help resolve specific complaint or quality issues.
To provide support to the QA Supervisor in the absence of the QA Manager.
To carry out ad hoc projects as required.
