Ongoing contracts on offer paying Limited company rate of 24.00 per hour based in Essex Diesel Current Production Engineer (Quality). Role is the resolution of 'field' production issues on 2.0L and 2.2L diesel engines.

Ongoing contracts on offer paying Limited company rate of 24.00 per hour based in Essex Diesel Current Production Engineer (Quality). Role is the resolution of 'field' production issues on 2.0L and 2.2L diesel engines.
Co-ordinate rig or vehicle testing to understand or resolve field issue Carry out projects to develop improved field diagnosis methods Lead/support issue investigations at the engine or vehicle assembly plants. Co-ordinate failed part returns to the appropriate location and follow up with supplier for reports Act as single point of contact for client Asia/Pacific for related issues Skills Required: Must be a self-motivated and have good team working skills. Ability to resolve issues using appropriate quality tools and techniques e.g.FMEA, 8D etc PC skills: Excel, Word, Powerpoint and database applications Skills Preferred: Other considerations: - Ability to work within multi-brand multi-cultural team Enthusiasm for product excellence Prepared to travel within Europe as appropriate. Experience Required: Experience of Common Rail Diesel engine components and systems Knowledge of French would be beneficial Education Required: Candidates, who possess a degree level qualification in a relevant discipline, will be preferred Education Preferred: Relevant Engineering Degree
