Principle RF Systems Engineer
This role will involve the definition and refinement of architectures and implementations through to performance evaluation and optimisation of Company reference designs.
The successful candidate will have a background in RF design, a strong theoretical understanding and practical experience of system partitioning issues.

This role will involve the definition and refinement of architectures and implementations through to performance evaluation and optimisation of Company reference designs.
The successful candidate will have a background in RF design, a strong theoretical understanding and practical experience of system partitioning issues.
Experience of working within cross-functional teams is essential.
The candidate will be expected to have the majority of the following skills / experience:
Good academic background, 1st or 2:1 degree.
Significant cross functional experience including RF, DSP, analogue and mixed signal.
Experience of modelling high level wireless system performance using tools such as Matlab, MathCAD, ADS, VSS, Excel, Spice.
Working knowledge of Physical Layer parameters of modern CDMA and OFDM based communications standards.
Experience of cross functional system partitioning including understanding of performance constraints of RF, analogue, mixed signal and digital implementations.
Knowledge of manufacturing and test requirements and appreciation of associated design constraints.
Good 'follow through' skills; ability to work at both ends of development cycle.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Motivated, proactive attitude coupled with ability to work individually or as part of a team.
