Description: As Principal Test Technology Engineer you'll be responsible for managing major engine emissions test cell technology projects on the companies high horse power diesel & lean burn gas engines such as:
Drive short and long term improvements in measurement accuracy.
Manage high tech facility up-grade projects.
Network with performance development engineering to advance the development cycle of engine test cells.
Project Examples:
Learn and provide training on the use matter system.
Implement and commission a new particulate matter system:
Upgrade a particulate matter filter weighing station for engine test cells.
Lead new airflow meter project
Essential Skills: Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or HNC/HND with significant experience. Examples of experience:
Testcell instrumentation and troubleshooting.
Testcell technology improvement project from plan to commissioning, eg: airflow meters, dyno system, data acquisition system.
Experience in working with a testcell data acquisition system.
Strong PC, data gathering and analysis ability.
