Reporting to the Team Leader the engineer will be responsible for design and development of software within an agile environment.
Outline Job Profile:
The candidate will have a broad scientific and technical software development background covering real time, embedded software systems and systems development based on industry computing platforms and mainstream software development languages.
Experience in the design and implementation of large software systems incorporating real time embedded systems.
OO analysis, design and implementation is essential using UML.
Solid experience of formal software methods and quality standards together with the definition of software requirements.
Qualifications and skills:
Essential:
- Experience of a full software lifecycle
- A very good knowledge of OO concepts
- Experience in C++ or Java
Desirable:
- UML
- Corba
- Component based design
- Ability to lead or work in a small team within an agile environment
- Experience in developing real-time software solutions
