Progressive railway-based consultancy that is actively exploring new markets is urgently looking to employ a Principal Safety Consultant to cover a large client portfolio in the UK.
The ideal candidate will have experience of consultancy working, and will be qualified to Nebosh Diploma status. The main scope of the role will be to provide professional management consultancy and advice on risk management, safety systems and safety cases to the overland rail industry, so prior knowledge and exposure to this is essential.
Your main strength will lie in implementing and auditing integrated management systems. It is important that you are a professional individual with good client-facing skills and a proactive attitude, and that you are prepared to undertake commissions and deliver on them, working both as part of a team and as an individual.
It is essential that you have a comprehensive and demonstrable awareness of Train Operating companies and systems, and to those with an outgoing demeanour with proven experience of liaising, winning business, and undertaking external third party audits.
The role can be home-based, but will involve travel across the UK to client sites on a frequent basis.
