Description
Job purpose:
1. Project manage site facility improvements, looking at processes relating to improved layout, product flows and capacities
2. Manage Design For Manufacture changes associated with in house manufacture and construction
processes
3. Project manage the implementation of key improvements relating to product and process change in
manufacture and construction
4. Identify and implement Lean Manufacturing principles to in house manufacturing and construction
processes
5. Communicate effectively with the team, management and customer, both internal and external
6. Lead, develop and motivate any reporting and assigned staff through good communication and honest open management techniques, in keeping with company values and policies and procedures
Person Specification
1. The person should have strong problem solving ability, drive, high energy levels and leadership skills
2. Lead by example on process, behavioural and leadership activities
Qualifications
1. HND in Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience
1. Proven success of delivering results in process improvement and change management
2. Experience of implementation of Lean principles
3. People management skills and the ability to work well in teams
4. Budget management experience and commercial acumen
5. Evidence of continuous professional development
