Our client an established, customer-driven solutions provider who utilise their knowledge, expertise and technologies to transform the production processes of their customers, who operate predominately in the metals and minerals markets, are currently looking for a "Principle Mechanical Engineer".
The role will be to lead a small team that provides mechanical and process designs, drawings and documentation for the company's products and project related engineering.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To lead, motivate, manage and supervise engineering and drafting personnel.
• To produce mechanical and process engineering designs.
• To provide the drawings and documentation for manufacture.
• To carry out mechanical and process design calculations.
• To produce documentation describing the operation of machines and systems.
• To be responsible for the technical content of a project.
• To represent the company at meetings with customers.
• To be involved in the design and development of new products.
• To provide technical support to the commissioning team during plant start-ups and to take a lead when required with technical problem solving.

• Able to create mechanical engineering designs, drawings and documentation.

• Extensive IT skills, particularly those used for CAD, calculation packages and those used for compiling documentation.
