The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will carry out a vital role as part of a dedicated project team, challenged with the task of delivering robust and cost effective power systems.
You will be responsible for a wide range of engineering activities covering all stages of a project from bid to delivery. The role will challenge your experience of designing optimum solutions in a cost competitive environment.
Working closely with other team members and sub-contractors, you will plan and carry out your activities to develop technical solutions, which successfully meet with the overall objectives of your project.
Act as design authority or lead engineer on projects and to provide a technical point of contact for Project Managers and customers.
The Candidate:
* You will have a relevant degree with proven experience in an electrical engineering environment.
* A motivated self-starter, capable of leading small engineering teams.
* Proven track record of leading and motivating others within a team-based, multi-skilled environment.
* Ability to apply best practice engineering and development techniques.
* PC and keyboard literacy is essential.
Successful candidates will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment.
