Description
Principal Engineer required to lead Water Infrastructure, Drainage and Flooding design and feasibility schemes. Based out of the Sutton Coldfield office the candidate would be required to take the technical lead on projects as well as coordinating multi-disciplinary teams from around the country to deliver schemes with the aim of surpassing clients requirements.
About the Role
This role will provide an exciting challenge for the right candidate.
The Sutton Coldfield team work for a wide range of internal and external clients. The candidate would be expected to lead teams of mechanical/civil/electrical/process and other support staff to deliver schemes to the clients satisfaction in a commercially sound way.
Typical clients include Water companies, local authorities and internal highways and environmental teams. Typical projects include Flood Risk Assessments, capital design water and wastewater projects and highway drainage design.
It is likely that the schemes will be UK wide and an element of travel away from Sutton Coldfield will be expected on an irregular basis.
About You
•You must be a skilled engineer with excellent experience in the field of project management, excellent negotiation skills with team management of all staff.
•Good client relationship along with excellent financial and contractual awareness.
•Ability to see the bigger picture whilst paying close attention to detail as required.
•Good IT skills
