A leading Tier 1 supplier seeks a Principal Design and Development Engineer to meet market demands for products enabling enhanced emissions compliance and providing improved fuels compatibility, together with cost MCIP improvements.
The roles main duties will be drawn from the following:
> Provide leading technical support for the design and development of mechanical fuel systems.
> Managing the workflow of direct engineering reports and technicians with regard to design and development.
> Support of FIE product for design and development activities through complete product life cycle from product design (new features) through to warranty and field service analysis.
Experience:
> Significant experience in a product Design & Development environment with specific experience in design and development of Diesel Fuel Injection Equipment being highly valued
> Experience of supervising Engineers and Technicians
> Good communication skills and project planning experience
> Computer skills
